このポジションについて

WeWork Japanでは、オフィスという物理空間とデジタル体験の両方を支えるプロダクト・サービスの強化を進めています。本ポジションでは、事業・オペレーション・ユーザー体験・開発制約を踏まえながら、何を優先して作るべきかを定義し、関係者を巻き込みながらプロダクトを前進させる役割を担っていただきます。
担当領域は特定の単一プロダクトに限定されず、CX領域とPlatform領域の両方を含む複数テーマに柔軟に関与いただく可能性があります。日本国内向けWeb / Appの体験改善、業務プロセスの標準化、DX推進に関わるテーマも含まれます。
開発チームは多国籍で、日常的な開発コミュニケーションは主に英語で行われます。開発体制は社内エンジニアに加え、外部ベンダーや外部サービスとの連携を含むハイブリッドな構成を想定しています。英語力そのものは必須条件ではありませんが、英語環境のソフトウェア開発組織と協働できることは大きなプラスです。

また、開発はアジャイルを前提としたスプリントベースで進めており、本ポジションには、要件整理や優先順位付けに加え、デザイナーと協働したUX/UI検討やデザインレビューを通じて継続的にプロダクトを前進させることが求められます。

主な職責と領域

• プロダクト課題を発見し、解決すべき論点を整理する
• ユーザー体験、業務要件、事業要件を踏まえて仕様を定義する
• 複数のステークホルダーと連携し、優先順位付け・ロードマップ・バックログ管理を行う
• アジャイル / スプリント開発の中で、要件整理、仕様明確化、意思決定を行う
• 限られたリソースや制約の中で、MVPとして何を先に出すべきかを判断する
• デザイナーと協働してUX/UIを検討し、デザインレビューを行う
• 必要に応じてAIツールやプロトタイピングツールを活用し、仮説を具体化する
• APIやシステム連携、技術的制約についてエンジニアと議論し、実現可能性を踏まえて判断する
• 必要に応じて海外エンジニアやグローバルチームとの連携を行う
• 業務プロセスの標準化や運用改善を含め、プロダクト価値を高める

必要とされる経験＆スキル

• Webサービス、業務システム、アプリケーション等におけるProduct Manager / Product Owner / 企画・要件定義の実務経験
• 自ら意思決定を行い、プロダクトまたはプロジェクトを前に進めた経験
• 複数のステークホルダーとの調整・合意形成をリードした経験
• アジャイル開発またはスプリントベースのソフトウェア開発環境で開発を推進した経験
• 技術的な制約や実装上のトレードオフを理解し、エンジニアと議論しながら仕様や優先順位を判断できる能力
• ソフトウェアエンジニアとしての実務経験は必須ではないものの、API、認証、データ連携、システム間インテグレーションなどの技術的論点について理解があること
• UX/UIの基本原則を理解し、デザイナーと議論しながら方向性を判断できること
• 日本語での高いコミュニケーション能力

About the role

WeWork is seeking a Product Manager to help strengthen the digital products and services that support both the physical workplace experience and digital experience in Japan. This full-time position reports to Toshihiko Kamio and will be part of our Digital Technology team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in product planning, requirements definition, prioritization, and cross-functional delivery in software environments.
This role is not limited to a single product. The Product Manager may work flexibly across both CX and Platform-related themes, including improvements to Japan-facing web / app experiences, business process standardization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Our development team is multinational, and day-to-day engineering communication is primarily conducted in English. The delivery model is hybrid and may involve in-house engineers, external vendors, and multiple third-party services. English fluency is not a strict requirement; however, experience working effectively with English-speaking software development teams is a strong advantage.
Development is conducted in agile, sprint-based cycles. In addition to defining requirements and setting priorities, this role is expected to collaborate with designers on UX/UI exploration and design reviews, and to help drive product decisions forward in an iterative manner.

Responsibilities

• Identify product problems and structure key issues to be solved
• Define product requirements based on user needs, operational realities, business goals, and technical constraints
• Manage prioritization, roadmap, and backlog in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Drive requirement clarification and decision-making within agile / sprint-based development
• Make pragmatic MVP scope decisions under limited time and resource constraints
• Work with designers on UX/UI discussions and review design proposals
• Use AI tools or prototyping tools when needed to make hypotheses more concrete
• Discuss APIs, system integrations, and technical constraints with engineers and make informed trade-off decisions
• Collaborate with overseas engineers or global teams when required
• Improve product value through process standardization and operational improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Product Manager, Product Owner, service planning, or requirements definition roles for web services, business systems, or applications
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently and move products or projects forward
• Experience leading stakeholder alignment and cross-functional decision-making
• Experience working in agile or sprint-based software development environments
• Ability to understand technical constraints and implementation trade-offs, and make decisions in discussion with engineers
• While software engineering experience is not required, a solid understanding of APIs, authentication, data integrations, and system-to-system integrations is expected
• Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and the ability to review direction with designers
• Strong communication skills in Japanese

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience communicating in English in a business setting
• Experience working with English-speaking development teams, offshore teams, or global teams
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or agile delivery processes
• Experience in platform or shared-service domains such as authentication, payments, membership systems, or common APIs
• Understanding of API integrations, external SaaS integrations, microservices, or distributed systems
• Prototyping experience using Figma, FigJam, or AI tools
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, and Google Workspace to drive product development
• Experience using SQL, Tableau, or similar tools for analysis and product improvement proposals
