Job Description:
- We are looking for a Corporate IT Engineer who can evaluate, introduce, and implement SaaS tools and IT equipment, while managing employee devices and internal IT operations across Japan and Vietnam.
- This role is not limited to helpdesk or routine system administration. The main focus is to support the company’s growth by introducing the right SaaS tools and IT equipment, designing operational rules, managing employee devices, and enabling employees to work efficiently and securely.
- You will work closely with Corporate, HR, Finance, Engineering, and other business teams to understand internal needs, evaluate solutions, coordinate with vendors, implement tools, and support users after rollout.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and introduce SaaS tools and IT equipment based on internal business needs
- Lead or support SaaS implementation projects, including requirement clarification, vendor coordination, initial configuration, rollout planning, user onboarding, and operation rule creation
- Manage internal SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, IDaaS, and other business tools
- \Manage employee devices, including laptops, smartphones, peripherals, and other IT assets
- Operate and improve device lifecycle management, including procurement, setup, delivery, inventory control, replacement, and retirement
- Manage MDM / endpoint management tools for Windows and macOS devices
- Handle account setup, access control, permission management, and user lifecycle operations
- Create and maintain IT operation manuals, user guides, internal rules, and onboarding documents
- Provide internal IT support for employees in Japan and Vietnam
- Coordinate with SaaS vendors, IT equipment suppliers, distributors, and external partnersImprove internal IT operations by standardizing workflows and reducing manual work
- Support IT security practices related to SaaS usage, device management, account control, and internal IT operations
- Evaluate and propose new technologies or tools that can improve employee productivity and security
Who We Are Looking For
- We are looking for someone who is not only able to operate existing IT tools, but can also introduce new tools and make them work effectively inside the company.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable with both SaaS implementation and hands-on device management. They can evaluate tools, talk with vendors, configure systems, create rules and manuals, support users, and continuously improve internal IT operations.
- This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys building practical IT operations for employees, rather than only maintaining servers or responding to helpdesk tickets.
- Compare multiple SaaS vendors and summarize pros, cons, cost, security, and operational impact
- Configure a new SaaS tool and prepare user onboarding materials
- Create account management and permission rules for a newly introduced tool
- Improve the process for laptop procurement, setup, delivery, and retirement
- Review existing SaaS usage and propose better operational rules
- Coordinate with Japan-side members to standardize IT operations across locations
Requirements
- Experience in Corporate IT, Information Systems, Internal IT, IT Administrator, or similar roles
- Experience evaluating, introducing, or implementing SaaS tools, IT services, or internal IT tools
- Experience managing employee devices, IT assets, or endpoint management tools
Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS device setup and troubleshooting
Experience with SaaS administration or configuration, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, IDaaS, or similar tools - Basic understanding of account management, access control, permission settings, and user lifecycle management
- Experience creating operation manuals, user guides, internal rules, or onboarding materials
- Ability to communicate with internal users and understand their operational needs
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, distributors, and external partners
- Japanese language ability equivalent to JLPT N3 or above, or business-level English communication ability.
- Ability to communicate in English in text-based communication and internal meetings
- Graduated from College/University
Nice to have
- Experience leading SaaS rollout, migration, or replacement projects
- Experience implementing IT tools from evaluation to internal rollout
- Experience with MDM or endpoint management tools such as Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar tools
- Experience with IDaaS, SSO, SCIM, or access management tools
- Experience supporting IT operations in a multi-country or remote work environment
- Experience working with Japanese teams or Japanese companies
- Experience improving internal IT workflows through automation, scripting, or no-code tools
- Basic knowledge of IT security, endpoint security, SaaS security settings, and access control
- Experience with network equipment, firewall, VPN, or office IT infrastructure
