About product co-creation development

"Product Co-Creation Development" is a business that conducts everything from DX consulting to system development specialized in the construction industry. Through continuous collaborative relationships with client companies, we carry out everything from consulting to system development and commercialization. In this process, user companies and vendor companies send their members to build an agile development team and develop the system.

Business characteristics

• We will conduct a PoC in about 3 months and receive confirmation from client companies about direction of development and our technical capabilities.
• Development is agile, and feedback from client companies is immediately reflected in subsequent development content.
• Gradually expand the scale of development while understanding client companies.

PlantStream

Previously, it took two hours to design a single pipe, but now we can automatically route approximately 1,000 pipes in one minute. This dramatically shortens the construction period, which tends to be long due to changes in specifications or lack of human resources, and reduces costs accordingly. It has reduced the man-hours required for space design in the basic design work of a plant by about 80%, and it has become possible to create 3D models about five times faster than before.

About future business

Arent Co., Ltd. was newly listed on the TSE Growth Market in March 2023. Until now, we have been working to improve operational efficiency at the design stage, but we are thinking of solving further issues.

In addition to design, we are also developing web services that enable us to solve problems such as construction, maintenance, and management, and realize the ideal state.

• As a product manager, you will lead our company's new DX project.
• Each person will be responsible for 1-2 projects.

As a product manager, you will lead the development team by conducting the whole design of a software and technical research.

• The whole design of a software
• Request external parties in order to (such as) conduct technical research, be able to problem’s solving, and organizational improvement.
• Communicate with management and clients on technical aspects

What you are involved in

The DX projects handled by Arent do not end with package installation and customization. There is a wide range of technology stacks used, such as building digital twin applications with 3D expression, or finding true Issue through consulting and applying to Web systems.
This position is perfect for people who like to catch up with the latest technology, those who are interested in improving business efficiency and changing work styles through the power of software, and those who want to push these challenges forward.

Team structure: It is assumed that the project will be developed by a team of about 5 to 10 people. (PM, PL, Engineers  *Including outsourcing)

What kind of projects we will entrust you

This is system development for new digital businesses created with major domestic companies as clients.
These may be systems that are technically possible as a logic but have no precedent, or areas such as machine learning and AI that even Arent, as a technology group, still does not have much knowledge about.
We hope that you will learn about technologies which even Arent does not have deep know-how and fields that you were previously unaware of, as well as connect these to output.
Since you will be involved from the launch of the product, there will be fewer tasks and volumes such as handover-work, and you will be able to work with responsibility and discretion in creating the product from zero.

• Because you can select the technology yourself, you don't feel like someone else is making your product, and you can work with a sense of responsibility that the product is yours.
• Since you have full authority to create products on the technical side, you can actively adopt technologies that you want to use or that you are interested in (which they are compatible with the project). For example, if you decide to use Go, you can use Go.
• There are many opportunities to be involved in the development of systems that are technically possible as a logic side, but unprecedented, from the ground up.
• If the product you are involved in developing leads to the launch of a business, there is an opportunity of career-up to the position close to CTO.
• In the most recent projects, the opportunities to use Unity, React, Vue, Angular, etc. are expected.

Application qualifications

[MUST]

• Team management experience such as project leader
• Ability to appropriately explain parts that you do not understand
• Vietnamese language skills (native level; familiarity with local business customs and engineering careers)
• Japanese language skills (Conversation skills to discuss technology and business with Japanese management team, and reading comprehension to understand Japanese materials and documents are required. JLPT level is required to be N2 or higher.)

[Welcome (WANT)]

• Experience with distributed development on Pull Request based on Git.
• Development experience in using C#, .Net or web application development experience (React, PHP, Unity, etc.)
• CAD usage and development experience
• Understanding mathematics (vectors, trigonometric functions, etc.)
• Development experience in more than 3-engineer- team
• Advanced mathematical knowledge such as optimization
• Read books about coding skills, such as "The Art of Readable Code: Simple and Practical Techniques for Writing Better Code", "Clean Code", etc.

The person we are looking for

Who possesses communication skills to connect related parties and team members depending on the issue and smoothly proceed the project, and has management skills to flexibly adjust with related departments in response to requests such as changes in specifications and schedules, and to derive appropriate plans.
