Axelspaceは、「Space within Your Reach 〜宇宙を普通の場所に〜」というビジョンの元、2008年の設立以来磨き上げてきた独自の超小型衛星技術によって、多くの人が当たり前のように宇宙を利用する社会の実現を目指しています。
2015年より開始したAxelGlobe事業では、多数の衛星を打ち上げて地球を高頻度でモニタリングしていく新しいインフラを提供しており、2019年に打ち上げた衛星1機に加えて、2021年には日本初の量産衛星4機の打ち上げに成功しました。
また、新事業「AxelLiner」では、お客様の宇宙・衛星ビジネスの早期実現のための衛星開発・運用等の一連の流れを提供しており、2024年には日本初となる小型衛星量産体制を活用した実証機初号機「Pyxis」を打ち上げ予定です。

2022年には第22回JAPAN VENTURE AWARDSにて最高賞である経済産業大臣賞を受賞しました。

Company Introduction

Axelspace has been one of the pioneers of micro-satellite technology and industry since the establishment of the company in 2008, and we envision democratizing space technology to a wider population across the globe for their daily use.

AxelGlobe business started in 2015 to provide a new Earth observation infrastructure by launching multiple micro-satellites for its higher data frequency. In addition to a satellite launched in 2019, we have successfully launched four more satellites in 2021, which used the first mass production technology for satellite production in Japan. Utilizing this small-satellite mass production system, our new service “AxelLiner” also supports clients outside the space industry to actualize their business involved in satellite projects.

業務概要

組み込みソフトウェアエンジニアは、アクセルスペースが開発し、衛星に搭載されるオンボードコンピュータに関連する組み込みソフトウェアの設計・開発・テスト・保守衛星運用のライフサイクルを通して定義されたミッション達成に取り組んで頂きます。

職務内容

• 組み込みソフトウェアの開発とコンポーネント、およびシステムの保守
• CまたはC++などによる全てのアプリケーション、コンポーネント、インターフェースのプログラミング
• 衛星システム仕様、他の衛星コンポーネントの仕様に基づいたソフトウェア開発
• 設計情報のドキュメント化
• 設計およびコードレビュー
• 各種テスト設計と実施
• 他のエンジニアリングチーム、パートナー、ベンダーと緊密に連携して、相互運用性/再利用性を確保
• 隣り合うサブシステムとデバッグおよびインターフェースの推進
• ハードウェア設計者と協力し問題を解決
• 初期運用およびトラブル発生時に衛星運用をサポート
• もし可能であればHDLやIDEを用いてFPGAのインテグレーション

必要なスキル・経験

• 学歴：電気、コンピューターサイエンス、制御工学、メカトロニクス、その他の工学に関連する高専または大学を卒業
• 英語での会話に抵抗感がない方
• 技術スキル
  • 一般的なハードウェアへの理解：マイクロコントローラー、UART / SPI / I2C、RTCなど
  • CもしくはC ++での使用経験
  • bash、git、gdb等のコマンドラインツールを用いての使用経験

About the Role

The mission of embedded systems software engineer concerns the on-board computer of our satellites throughout its whole life-cycle, which includes design, development, testing, and troubleshooting. Required Attitude for this role are as follows:

  • Autonomy, ability to work from a technical specification or write your own
  • Emphasis on collaboration and teamwork
  • Share the knowledge: be a mentor for others and learn from others

Job Responsibilities

• Embedded software development, maintenance of components and systems
• Programming applications, components drivers and interfaces in C, C++ etc.
• Develop software based on satellite system specifications and other satellite component specifications
• Document design information
• Perform design reviews and code reviews
• Design and perform various tests
• Work closely with other engineering teams, partners and vendors to ensure interoperability / reusability
• Promotes co-debug and interface testing with related subsystems
• Work with hardware designers to solve any issues
• Gives support and troubleshoots problems during satellites initial and nominal operation
• If possible, perform FPGA integration by HDL or IDEs

Mandatory Requirements

• College or university graduation qualifications related to electrical, computer science, control engineering, mechatronics and other engineering.
• Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of common hardware: micro-controller, UART/SPI/I2C, RTC, etc.
  • Proficiency in C and/or C++
  • Comfortable with command line tools (i.e., bash, git, gdb, etc.)
  • Language Skills (one of the following):
    • Business English or
    • Basic English and Business Japanese
