Job Purpose
Leading a team of skilled data scientists and analysts,
· Develop and execute a comprehensive Advanced Analytics strategy and roadmap for CCBJI Supply Chain, aligned with the organization's overall SBP, ABP goals and objectives.
· Leverage existing and emerging supply chain operational data, apply advanced AI and ML techniques, proactively design, develop, and deploy innovative data science solutions in order to;
o Identify new cost saving opportunities.
o Improve productivity and reduce cost.
o Generate actionable insights for Data Driven decisions
o Enable intelligent decision support capabilities.
Support the achievement of CCBJI SBP, ABP and Supply Chain Operational KPIs
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
· Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing, learning, and growth.
Advanced Analytics Strategy:
· Develop and execute a comprehensive Advanced Analytics strategy for CCBJI Supply Chain, aligned with the organization's overall SBP, ABP goals and objectives.
· Identify opportunities and Implement data-driven strategies to leverage data analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to drive Supply Chain operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
· Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Operations (Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning, QSE), Commercial, Procurement, Finance, BS and HR teams to understand and assess business challenges, business requirements. Develop data-driven solutions that address complex supply chain issues for effective decision making.
· Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insights to bring relevant solutions to operational team members.
· Look for opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions across CCBJI.
Data Utilization:
· Transform complex CCBJI Supply Chain operational data into actionable insights to improve speed of decision making, efficiency and productivity by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
· Data Modeling and Database Management: Working closely with BS team Data Engineering & Modelling team, design and implement data models that accurately represent the Supply Chain processes and relationships.
· Working closely with BS teams, assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques for use on Supply Chain Projects
· Collaborate with data engineers to design data pipelines and frameworks for seamless data integration and analysis.
· Extract, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability for use in analytical models and reports.
Solution Development:
· Lead and actively design, develop and deploy Supply Chain Advanced Analytics models and AI/ML Descriptive, Predictive, Prescriptive Solutions to generate actionable insights for Supply Chain operations.
· Some example projects / opportunities.
o S&OI Problem Solving and Decision Support - AI based intelligent decision support solutions for Data Driven decision in S&OI daily, weekly monthly routines.
o Control Towers with AI driven Root Cause Analysis, actionable insights, alerts and recommended next actions for Supply Chain operations (Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning)
o Predicting supply chain disruptions, equipment failures, or quality issues.
o Inventory Flow Effectiveness - Slow Moving Inventory Reduction
o GenAI Inventory Application - Analytics & Intelligence
o Machine Learning models for Manufacturing predictive / condition-based maintenance.
o Dynamic inventory sourcing for Customer Order Fulfillment as necessary from multiple supply locations taking into account MLSR and NOSB rules.
o Dynamic decision support solutions for transport optimization
o Operational Spending (OPEX) Analytics for Supply Chain operations (Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning)
o Insights analytics for Continuous Improvement activities, OE (Operational Excellence), iCards , Quality & Safety Incidents
· Collecting, cleaning, and deep analyzing Supply Chain data utilizing statistical analysis and machine learning techniques (demand, production, supply, inventory, deployment, customer distribution) to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in operational activities to provide solutions,
· Conduct research from which you'll develop prototypes and proof of concepts.
· Data Analytics and Reporting: Creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide insights into supply chain performance. These insights support decision-makers in identifying bottlenecks, optimizing processes, and making informed strategic choices.· Process Automation: Implementing automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and reduce manual intervention in data processing and reporting.
· Stay curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and support others to understand and utilize the outputs effectively.
Project Management:
· Manage end-to-end analytics projects, including scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and delivery.
· Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
· Implement robust monitoring processes to track the performance of analytics solutions and models over time, ensuring ongoing accuracy and relevance.
· Proactively identify areas for improvement and refine models based on new data and changing business conditions.
Innovation and Continuous Learning:
· Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in data science, analytics, and supply chain management.
· Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, promoting the exploration of new technologies and approaches.
Qualifications
· Degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
· 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in FMCG company.
Operational system experts with comprehensive knowledge & experience in SCM within beverage industry.
Technical Competencies
・ Demonstrated advanced expertise in Data Analytics, Statistics, Machine Learning Engineering, creating and running Machine Learning Operations, Optimization & Simulation algorithms, , Python, R, SQL and practical applications.
・ High level proficiency in Azure Synapse, Databricks and other similar data solution development platforms.
・ Experience with data visualization tools such as Streamlit, Web Application Development , Tableau, Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
・ A solid understanding of Supply Chain processes concepts, including demand forecasting, inventory control, procurement, and logistics and business acumen is essential to effectively translate technical solutions into meaningful insights for the organization.
・ Effective communication skills to convey their findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
・ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment and a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for process optimization.
・ Utilizing data-driven approaches and sophisticated analytical techniques to optimize various aspects of the supply chain.
