Job Purpose
Design, develop, and optimize automated dashboards and KPIs in Power BI that enable data‑driven decision‑making across SCM and business functions. Eliminate manual reporting, ensure consistency of metrics and data definitions, and comply with department BI design standards and release governance.
Responsibilities:
• Report & Dashboard Development: Build scalable, performant Power BI solutions (star schema modeling, DAX measures, RLS, incremental refresh).
• Data Modeling & Quality: Collaborate with Data Engineers to design curated semantic models; implement data validation and refresh monitoring.
• Standards & Governance: Adhere to Power BI standards and release gate; produce technical documentation and UAT artifacts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business requirements (Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Finance) into clear visuals and narratives; run demos and training.
• Continuous Improvement: Refactor legacy Excel/Access reports into automated dashboards; drive adoption and feedback loops.
KPIs
• Reduction of manual reporting volume/time.
• On time delivery of prioritized dashboards; usage/adoption metrics.
• Compliance with BI standards & governance gate; defect rate post release.
• Performance metrics (model size, load time, refresh SLAs).

Key Stakeholders:
SCM, DNA, business users, Digital Transformation teams.
Academic Qualifications / Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
· 3+ years experience in BI/report development (Power BI preferred)
· Experience translating business needs into dashboards/KPIs with strong documentation and governance
· Exposure to Supply Chain (SCM) reporting is preferred (Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Inventory, Finance)
Technical Competencies
· BI Dashboard & Report Development (Power BI and Tableau): build executive-ready dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service reports
· Data Modeling: star schema, relationships/joins, semantic layer concepts, dimensional modeling best practices
· Calculated Logic & Metrics: Power BI- DAX measures, Tableau: Calculated fields / LOD expressions
· Data Preparation & Transformation: Power BI: Power Query (M), Tableau: Prep / data shaping (or equivalent ETL transformations)
· Performance Optimization: model/data source tuning, query efficiency, extract optimization, visual best practices, refresh scheduling
· Refresh & Reliability Management: scheduled refresh, monitoring, troubleshooting failures, SLA-oriented operational practices
· SQL Proficiency: joins, aggregations, validation queries, reconciliation, and performance-aware querying
· Documentation & Governance: metric definitions, data dictionary contributions, release artifacts, versioning, and UAT support
· Visualization & Data Storytelling: clear layout, effective chart selection, usability, accessibility, and executive-level narrative design
