Robot Motion Engineer Internship at Carnegie Mellon University's robotics venture

Job Description

Responsible for developing programs to generate robot motions. Based on sensor data, grasp planning and trajectory planning are performed to create robot motions, and then they are executed through visual and tactile sensor feedback control. This role covers from low-level real-time control to higher-level action planning, by student's skill.

ロボットの動作を生成するプログラムの開発を担当していただきます。センサデータをもとに把持計画や軌道計画を行い、視覚・触覚センサのフィードバック制御によりロボットの動作を生成を行います。低レベルのリアルタイム制御から、より高度な動作計画まで、習熟度に応じて担当していただきます。

Internship Program

The main theme of this internship is research and development of Leading-edge robotics
technology at FV.
Students will be given challenges to tackle the large tasks that FV engineers tackle.
For example, we will strengthen image recognition to better grasp difficult objects, and
support the development of robot systems to handle tedious tasks at restaurants.
Sometimes, we want to plan fun events with FV members!

このインターンシップの主なテーマは、FVの最先端ロボット技術の研究開発です。
学生には、難しい物体をより的確に把握するための画像認識を強化したり、レストランでの面倒な作業を処理するロボットシステムの開発をサポートする等、FVのエンジニアが取り組む大きな課題に挑戦してもらいます。
時には、FVのメンバーと一緒に楽しいイベントの参加もございます！
