Job Responsibilities

The Global Brand, Marketing, and Communications team is looking for a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to support our global marketing initiatives. 

As a pivotal team in overseas expansion, we are tasked with showcasing the value of GLOBIS’ various B2C services and products. We are looking for someone who can closely work with other multinational team members and stakeholders inside and outside GLOBIS to plan, execute, analyze, and continuously improve our marketing strategy. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop marketing strategies that align with the organization's business goals 
  • Manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising
  • Comprehensive digital promotion management (in Japanese and English) from strategy planning to execution, monitoring, and analysis, and optimization for the Japan market and global market 
  • Plan, develop and implement the paid media strategy, including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Outbrain, other native advertisements, etc. Determine the appropriate media channels and the most suitable digital media mix
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Monitor key indicators, analyze campaign metrics, prepare performance reports, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness
  • Support team leaders in the development of overall marketing strategy as a digital promotion professional. Also, propose testing of new ad formats, targeting, etc., and oversee internal and external communications necessary for testing implementation
  • Create, maintain, and monitor reports and dashboards to analyze and evaluate the performance of past and ongoing paid promotions by using Looker Studio, GA4, and Excel or Google Sheets, etc. 
  • Regularly communicate with vendors as well as internal and other external stakeholders, for campaign performance monitoring/optimization and reporting
  • Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors and external marketing agencies for successful brand awareness and conversion campaigns 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to produce engaging content and optimize user experience
  • Keep abreast of trends and potential changes in the digital marketing space, identify opportunities for testing, and share knowledge with team members on a regular basis. 
  •  Collaborate on and create engaging multimedia ad assets, including creating engaging banners and videos, writing ad copy that aligns with brand identity
  • Ensure all media campaigns are executed in a timely manner
  • Proofreading and checking all digital content (in Japanese and English) before releasing

The Branding & Marketing Communication - Global department is in charge of all B2C marketing and branding of the GLOBIS Group, consisting of our free online publication GLOBIS Insights, business e-learning platform GLOBIS Unlimited, and GLOBIS University MBA programs (nano-MBA, pre-MBA, Full-time MBA, Part-time & Online MBA)

Qualifications

必須要件/Required

  • Native Japanese speaker (N1 or equivalent) with strong writing skills in both Japanese and English  *The following tests will be accepted as a substitute for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a digital media planner or digital marketing specialist with deep knowledge of paid search, display advertising, SEO, and social media advertising.
  • 3+ of practical experience in a company
  • Hands-on experience with campaign management, ad platforms and other ad serving technology, including Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Outbrain Ads, Google Analytics, Twitter, Yahoo, etc.
  • Experience with search engine optimization, lead generation, and data analysis through reports and dashboards (i.e. Looker Studio, Salesforce Reports, Windsor, etc.)  
  • Experience managing and delivering multiple projects with quality output on a rolling basis (time management, communication, and organizational skills)
  • Experience designing ad banners and writing ad copy in English and Japanese
  • Experience with B2C markets in Japan
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, UI/UX design, landing page optimization, email marketing
  • Have a strong interest in GLOBIS business and GLOBIS WAY

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field 
  • Video and image editing skills (Adobe programs or similar)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot and other marketing automation tools (Zapier, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Project management and vendor management
  • Experience running digital advertising for events
  • Experience with B2C markets overseas
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Notion, etc.)
