We are seeking a passionate individual to support our global corporate clients in transforming their learning experiences through GLOBIS Unlimited, our business microlearning platform. This is the first role of the team, and we are looking for someone entrepreneurial to be the start of it.

業務詳細/Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and create support materials to assist sales members in meeting new acquisition goals. 
  • Interact directly with existing clients to meet expectations. 
  • Facilitate the registration process, product implementation, onboarding training, and ongoing account review. 
  • Assist with the renewal process for renewal targets. 
  • Manage outreach to customers for product feedback requests and internal escalations to product development teams. 
  • Be the voice of the customer as you partner with engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver the best-in-class customer experience. 
  • Make clear both qualitative and quantitative facts about customer usage and needs to better grow the product globally.

GLOBIS Digital Platform Department: Established in 2016 to focus on the Ed-Tech domain, currently consisting of over 300 members, including more than 150 technology personnel such as engineers. We actively promote our business not only domestically but also overseas, aiming to become a leading Ed-Tech company from Japan.

必須要件/Required

  • Experience in "corporate sales," "sales planning," or "customer success" in any industry 
  • Experience negotiating with stakeholders inside and outside the company
  • 3+ of practical experience in a company 
  • Flexibility to handle irregular tasks in a multitasking environment 
  • Ability to act while involving stakeholders to achieve goals  
  • Align with GLOBIS' business and the GLOBIS WAY

This position will be part of a newly formed team. 
Our division, GLOBIS Digital Platform, focuses on product development and customer success. 
Sales and marketing activities are handled by other divisions at GLOBIS Tokyo as well as our overseas hubs in the US, Singapore, Belgium, and more.

As this is the first role on a newly formed team, you will initially take on a wide range of responsibilities beyond customer success activities, including building processes, tools, and shaping the future team. As you grow in this role, you will have the chance to advance to managerial and leadership positions, ultimately shaping and leading the customer success strategy and team within the organization.

We adopt a flexible working hours system, with regular working hours from 9:30-18:00, including a 1-hour lunch break. Employees are expected to work on-site three days a week, with the remaining days being remote.

Here’s an example of a typical workday for a Customer Success Specialist:
・09:30-10:00: Review emails, Slack messages, and update task lists 
・10:00-11:00: Attend a team meeting to discuss current projects and customer feedback 
・11:00-12:00: Work on customer onboarding processes, ensuring new clients are successfully integrated into the system 
・12:00-13:00: Lunch break 
・13:00-14:00: Hold a meeting with the sales team to discuss strategies for customer engagement and retention 
・14:00-15:00: Address customer inquiries and provide support through email or calls 
・15:00-16:00: Collaborate with the product development team to relay customer feedback and discuss potential improvements 
・16:00-17:00: Prepare and send out a customer success newsletter or update 
・17:00-18:00: Plan and organize upcoming customer webinars or training sessions

*Additionally, there is a "Department Retreat" conducted within individual departments with similar objectives.

Not only expertise in business but also involvement in organizational management is expected in the long run. Additionally, as part of career development, participation in "educational activities (such as the development of educational content and lecturing)" aimed at disseminating management knowledge is required. (Therefore, it is assumed that obtaining a master's degree is a prerequisite either before or after joining the company.)
