Who is Wayfarer?
Wayfarer is a leading next generation hotel operations and travel startup in Japan. Founded in late 2019, we manage over 400 rooms across our brands Wayfarer, ORI and Kabin.
Our vision is to brighten life for the next generation of everyday travelers. We are building a product that is not limited only to the hotel, but also connects to local communities in a meaningful way to help travelers discover more. Powered by inhouse technology that enables digital touchpoints for superior operating efficiencies and a seamless traveler experience, without forgetting the human touch and interactions that make travel real.
We’re not like most companies. We’re misfits. We like doing things differently from the ‘recipe’. We communicate directly. We want risk-takers and outside the box critical thinking. We give first and help each other.
Our work environment is hybrid and diverse with over 30 nationalities with our teams primarily communicating in English. We have a people-first culture; our organizational structure helps get things done, but we encourage new ideas and innovation.
