Business Development (Senior Associate level)
Position Overview Renova is seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional to join its Philippines Office. You will play a key role in the sourcing, origination, and development of renewable energy projects across the country. This position is ideal for individuals with over 5 years of experience in the power and energy industry, who are passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to impactful, long-term energy solutions. Key Responsibilities Origination : Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and projects within the Philippines. Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research, policy/regulatory analysis and project feasibility studies. Project Support : Lead or support project structuring, feasibility assessment, planning, permitting, financial modelling, and documentation processes. Stakeholder Management : Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, landowners, local communities, and potential partners. Coordination and Negotiation : Coordinate and/or negotiate with contractors, landowners, partners, and advisors. Reporting : Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and internal reports for management. Administration : Manage project-related documentation, meeting coordination, and project monitoring. Capability/ Experience Required (Must) Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development within the energy sector (experience in Renewable Energy is preferred). Graduate of electrical, mechanical, or related engineering degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog. Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
