Job Description
As a Business Development Engineer, you will drive the expansion of our ceramic components business in the U.S. market. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales skills to identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and provide tailored solutions utilizing our advanced ceramic technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the electronic components sector in the U.S. market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by management or headquarters.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, market analysis, and customer feedback to management.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
- Manage customer inquiries, quotations, and delivery schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel frequently within the U.S. and occasionally internationally to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical sales or engineering within electronic components, semiconductors, or other high-reliability industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor technologies such as CPU, FPGA, ASIC.
- Familiarity with AlN multilayered ceramic substrates, packages, or antennas and their applications.
