We design security measures in alignment with business strategies, taking into account the current business phase, costs, projected revenue, and potential loss in the event of a risk. Advanced balancing between security and experience The highest level of security is not always the "right" answer. Over-securing can increase costs and compromise user convenience. We must assess risks and always consider the most suitable security measures. Instead of simply avoiding risk, we sometimes choose to take calculated risks to pursue maximum user value. To achieve a sophisticated balance between convenience and security, we actively promote automation and autonomous systems. Autonomous and scalable organization of security As the Money Forward Group grows into a larger development organization, we aim to deliver even greater value. If the CISO Office handles every single security function, we will become a bottleneck and fail to scale. Each development department must be able to build secure services autonomously. The CISO Office focuses on building the frameworks and providing the support necessary to enable this autonomy. Responsibilities and Duties In this position, you will leverage your knowledge and experience in coding and infrastructure to maintain and enhance the security of Money Forward in collaboration with developers and IT infrastructure teams. As a Product Security Specialist, you will drive the following initiatives alongside other security specialists in the CISO Office: Establishment of security guardrails for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Senior QA Manager (HR Solutions Department), Tokyo
Overview Money Forward is entering a new era of growth. As we scale our HR domain, which includes mission-critical products like Money Forward Cloud Payroll, Human Resources Management, and Money Forward Cloud My Number, the complexity of aligning product requirements with ever-changing Japanese labor laws and regulations has increased exponentially. Since then, we have expanded our product lineup and now offer eight products in the HR domain. Money Forward Cloud Payroll Money Forward Cloud Human Resources Management Money Forward Cloud Attendance Money Forward Cloud Attendance Plus Money Forward Cloud Year-End Adjustment Money Forward Cloud Social Insurance Money Forward Cloud My Number MoneyForward Cloud Employee Benefits Rental The HR domain has high potential for market share expansion, so it has been identified as a key area to accelerate business growth. As the number of product users increases and the organisation expands, improving product quality has become an urgent priority. We are looking for a visionary QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance strategy into an AI-first future. This role isn’t just about finding bugs; it’s about architecting a quality ecosystem where AI acts as a force multiplier— automating regulatory cross-checks, optimizing the discovery phase, and ensuring our HR suite remains the most trusted in the market. The Mission: AI-Driven Regulatory Alignment: Lead the implementation of AI tools to automatically cross-verify product requirements against legal regulations, ensuring 100% compliance with zero manual overhead. Full-Lifecycle AI Integration: Move beyond "test cases." You will integrate AI into the overall development cycle to improve quality. For example, in Discovery Phase, to identify quality risks before development begins and use AI to audit upstream documentation.. Global Quality Leadership: Manage a diverse QA organization (Japan, Vietnam, India) and foster a culture of "Shift-Left" where Engineers and QAs partner with AI agents, focusing human judgment on strategy, exploratory testing, and high-risk validation. Current Issues Current Issues & Strategic Pivot: Money Forward’s FY28 goal is to achieve sales of over 100 billion yen. To reach this milestone, our HR Product Development Department must maintain an aggressive release cadence while navigating the extreme complexity of Japanese labor laws and global expansion. The Complexity Wall: Currently, our QA efforts rely on high-touch manual processes. With 8+ products and a global engineering team (Japan, Vietnam, India), we have reached a "complexity wall" where: Regulatory Bottlenecks: Manually cross-checking product requirements against evolving HR regulations is becoming a primary cause of lead-time inflation. Discovery Phase Gaps: Without AI-assisted auditing in the upstream discovery phase, quality issues are often identified too late, leading to expensive rework. Scaling Traditional QA: Simply adding more headcount is no longer a sustainable way to maintain quality at our current growth rate. The Solution: We are shifting from a traditional domain-knowledge-heavy QA model to an AI-Augmented Quality Strategy. We need a leader who can move beyond manual process improvement and implement AI systems that act as an automated "regulatory brain" and "discovery-phase auditor." This role is critical to ensuring that our quality foundation is not just stable, but self-scaling through technology. Main Responsibilities AI Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute a QA strategy centered on AI-enabled processes. Specifically, building frameworks where AI audits requirements against regulatory benchmarks. Upstream Quality (Shift-Left): Implement AI-driven "Quality Gates" in the discovery and design phases to prevent defects from reaching the coding stage. Organizational Management: Lead and grow a high-performing QA team (5+ members), focusing on upskilling traditional QA engineers into AI-savvy Quality Analysts. Metrics & Intelligence: Utilize AI to analyze defect data, predicting potential failure points and recommending process improvements based on historical trends. Stakeholder Negotiation: Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to integrate AI-driven quality checks into the standard SDLC without sacrificing velocity. Data Privacy & Security QA: Lead PII handling validation, APPI compliance testing, and ensure AI components do not leak or memorize employee data. Establish guardrails for LLM-based features that touch payroll, attendance, or personnel records. Required Skills and Experience 3+ years of Organizational Management: Proven experience managing teams of 5 or more in a fast-paced environment. AI Product QA Expertise: Hands-on experience using LLMs or AI tools to analyze requirements, generate documentation, or perform automated compliance checks. Strategic QCD Awareness: Deep understanding of Quality, Cost, and Delivery, with the ability to show how AI improves all three. Upstream Process Design: Experience in standardizing development processes, specifically focusing on "Discovery Phase" quality assurance. Technical Foundation: 3+ years of development experience or advanced test automation (scripting languages). Bachelor's degree in information processing or computer science, or equivalent knowledge (Basic Information Technology Examination, etc.) Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in establishing a QA organisation from scratch Experience in improving QA approaches using AI tools or experience in AI development Experience working in a global environment spanning multiple countries (in the HR Product Development Department, you will work with members from Vietnam and India) Experience in introducing, building, and maintaining CI/CD environments and test automation using automation frameworks A sense of responsibility to commit to product quality and the perseverance to see things through even in difficult situations Those interested in a new era of QA strategy centered on shift left Language Requirements Japanese language skills: Not required English language skills: Business level (TOEIC 700 points or equivalent) For meetings conducted in Japanese, an interpreter will be provided. Technology Stack Backend: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, gRPC, Sidekiq Pro, RSpec, Kotlin Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Bootstrap-vue, Vue apollo, Jest Infrastructure: Amazon EKS, Aurora, ElastiCache, S3 etc Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Test Automation Tech stack: Playwright with Typescript Work Environment At Money Forward, we provide an environment where we can create world-class services together, and we are looking forward to welcoming you. As the work becomes more dynamic and complex, domain leaders need to stay fully focused on their specialties (e.g., algorithm development and next-generation system design), while cross-company stakeholder coordination and project administration load has increased. We are looking for a PMO who can invent practical mechanisms to solve on-the-ground problems—not just apply textbook project management—so that leaders can be freed from operational overhead and the project can succeed through well-designed processes. Responsibilities and Duties Become the "driving force" of the project, moving beyond simple administration to lead execution. Drive execution with a problem-first mindset Identify bottlenecks regardless of existing frameworks. Extract technically challenging issues (e.g., ML requirements, data specs) and enforce clear ownership, deadlines, and action plans. Design and operate “living governance” Build a change management process from scratch that enables rational agreement on spec/priority changes. Structure key arguments and recommendations to accelerate decision-making at "Mega-Venture" speed. Build shared understanding across stakeholders Interview key members in MFW, MFK, and the Digital Bank. Structure expectations and current situations to ensure the entire group always shares the same context. Maximize leaders’ focus Shield leaders from operational noise, ensuring an environment where they can concentrate on critical design and implementation (including banking-side operations design). Who We’re Looking For Strong resonance with Money Forward's vision Passionate about being a fan of our services and contributing to their growth Problem-first mindset: management as a means to solve problems, not management for its own sake Enjoys creating order/mechanisms in a fast-changing environment High ownership and willingness to get hands-on to deliver outcomes Work Environment At Money Forward, we provide an environment where we can create world-class services together, and we are looking forward to welcoming you. Data & AI Strategist, Strategy & Operations, CDAO Office, Tokyo
【Only applicants residing in Japan are eligible to apply.】 Overview Money Forward is at a turning point as we aim for discontinuous growth beyond our current scale in the SaaS market, where we generate tens of billions of yen in revenue. At the center of this transformation is the “CDAO Office, Data & AI Strategy Department,” an organization reporting directly to the CDAO (Chief Data & AI Officer). Our department designs company-wide strategies for leveraging data and AI and drives cross-functional projects across multiple business divisions. Our mission is not simply to build AI models, but to build “organizational operations that can win with data and AI” and see strategy through to execution. From strategic planning that supports the CDAO’s decision-making to budget/resource management and leading complex, cross-team initiatives, stronger execution in organizational operations is increasingly required. We are therefore looking for a professional who combines strong technology literacy with high business skills to act as the “chief of staff” for our Data & AI organization and support business growth. Responsibilities and Duties As a strategy staff member reporting directly to the CDAO, you will take ownership of corporate planning and organizational operations across the data/AI domain. Immediate mission: Build, operate, and standardize organizational management. Enhance budget and P/L management across multiple organizations under the CDAO (e.g., DAPD, AIPD, AXFD). Develop hiring strategy and manage headcount (optimize resources in collaboration with HRBP). Shift from person-dependent operations to systematized processes that enable the organization to scale. We have company-wide AI tools in place, so we also welcome proposals that leverage AI to dramatically improve your own work processes. Execute planning work as the “corporate planning” function for the data organization. Support the formulation of company-wide data and AI strategy under the CDAO. Create strategic materials for management offsites (1–2 times per year). Conduct market research and data analysis to inform new business planning. Support technical strategy planning and research. Support the creation of mid-to-long-term technical strategy roadmaps. Research and analyze the latest AI trends and competitors’ data utilization. Why This Role Front-row seat reporting directly to the CDAO: you can closely experience how company-wide data/AI strategy is formulated and executed, and deeply engage in that process yourself. A rare experience as “corporate planning for a data organization”: this is neither a pure analytics role nor planning for a single business unit. You’ll work across multiple businesses and create company-wide impact. Required Skills and Experience 3+ years of experience in PMO / corporate planning / business planning at an IT consulting firm or an operating company. Hands-on experience in stakeholder management, P/L and budget management, and project management. Strong documentation skills to structure complex topics and communicate them in an understandable way. Strong interest in technology (respect for the latest AI technologies and engineering organizations). Preferred Skills and Experience Experience driving planning initiatives (e.g., corporate planning, business planning) in a fast-paced business environment (e.g., startups).
