Overview Under the mission of "Money Forward. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Entra Id and ID Management specialist as part of this initiative. *Based on the press release announced on April 16, 2025. ※ This position involves employment with Money Forward, Inc., and a secondment to the new company (SMBC Money Forward Bank Preparatory Corporation). Responsibilities and Duties Develop management policies and overall design for user principals, service principals, and dynamic groups. Design, implement, and operate Infrastructure as Code systems using Github and Terraform. Collaborate with our security specialists to implement security designs using CIS Controls and CIS Benchmarks. Implement ID management, group management, and SAML/SCIM. Drive the integration project of the company's ID management system for group join. Expected Role Be the “go to person” for all things EntraID and related technologies. Keep up with Microsoft's latest technologies to maintain and improve our ID management system. Participate in projects such as the introduction of new SaaS and group join, and design, build, and operate Entra ID as needed. Required Skills and Experience 3+ years experience in managing and operating Entra ID or Azure Active Directory. Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and concepts Basic scripting skills. Understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, SCIM, and OAuth. Overview Money Forward is continuously growing with the aim of becoming a global Big Tech company, and is actively engaged in M&A, establishment of joint ventures, and spin-outs. To support this non-linear growth, we need to strengthen the governance and operations of our company-wide SaaS and ID management systems, and build an information systems foundation that can scale with our business. We are looking for someone who can go beyond handling day-to-day inquiries, and instead design and standardize operations, policies, and processes across the organization. In particular, we seek a member of the Global IT Division who can play a central role in supporting rapid organizational expansion and the growth of our overseas offices. Main Responsibilities Governance and rule design Formulate and update company-wide usage policies and guidelines for SaaS tools. Design, document, and roll out control rules for SaaS operations across the organization. Propose standardization and optimization of SaaS usage and configurations based on usage data and new features. - Investigate new features and changes of each SaaS, assess their impact, and support introduction decisions. Triage of inquiries and requests, and operations design Act as the primary contact for requests and inquiries from various departments, organizing them and setting priorities. Clarify requirements and design flows and rules to prevent recurrence of issues, rather than handling them as one-off cases. Design practical operations by proposing alternatives or making well-balanced decisions to decline requests when necessary. Communicate decisions to stakeholders and ensure they are shared and embedded in daily operations. Continuous improvement and utilization promotion (including AI / automation) Research and evaluate AI features bundled with SaaS tools, and conduct security checks where necessary. Plan and implement efficiency improvements and automation of operational tasks using generative AI and scripts. Review business processes and continuously reflect improvements in standard operating procedures. Design trials and operational processes for rolling out new tools and features across the company. You will be assigned responsibilities step by step according to your skills and experience, with the expectation that you will eventually lead cross-functional design of company-wide SaaS operations. Required Skills and Experience Experience in designing and standardizing SaaS operations - Experience converting repeated inquiries or incidents into standardized flows, rules, and operations rather than one-off fixes. - Experience designing or improving cross-departmental SaaS usage rules and processes. Experience in organizing and triaging requests (requirements analysis / prioritization / proposing alternatives) - Experience organizing requests from stakeholders with conflicting interests, clarifying discussion points and decision criteria, and leading consensus-building. - Experience balancing business requirements with security and compliance requirements through structured coordination. Strong documentation skills - Experience documenting operational rules, runbooks, FAQs, and decision criteria so that other members can operate at the same quality level. - Experience maintaining and updating documentation using tools such as Notion. Continuous improvement mindset - Experience continuously running a cycle of current-state analysis, issue identification, stakeholder alignment, and reflection into operations. - Experience proposing and implementing process improvements based on data and facts. Experience using generative AI tools (such as Gemini, Claude, Cursor, Notion AI) - Experience using generative AI in daily work for tasks such as information organization, drafting documents, or simple scripting. - (Preferred) Experience designing or contributing to organizational policies and guidelines for generative AI usage. Preferred Skills and Experience Practical experience in corporate IT / information systems - Hands-on involvement in improvement or decision-making in at least one area such as SaaS operations, ID management, helpdesk, or security operations. - Experience participating in multiple phases of SaaS introduction or replacement, including planning, requirements definition, evaluation, trial design, operations design, and user enablement. - Experience with permission design, access review, and audit support. Fundamental understanding of security and compliance - Ability to make basic risk judgments related to accounts, permissions, data handling, and audit logs. - Basic understanding of Entra ID operations, SSO (SAML/OIDC), and provisioning (SCIM). Vendor management / procurement and contract coordination experience - Experience obtaining quotes, negotiating terms, and managing contract renewals. - Experience optimizing licenses and contracts based on actual usage and costs. Overview Money Forward is continuing to grow with the aim of becoming a global Big Tech company. In addition, M&A, joint venture establishment, and spin-outs are active. We are looking for someone who can contribute to improving employee convenience, operational efficiency, and strengthening governance by utilizing engineering in employee ID and information system management operations to support Money Forward's non-linear growth with information systems. Main Responsibilities You will be assigned to one of the following areas based on your experience and aptitude: Integration and maintenance of employee ID management (ID lifecycle), including HR system integration Maintenance and improvement of integration processes (API/batch, etc.) related to reflecting new hires, departures, and transfers based on HR data Development of operations that assume exceptions and failures (retry, error notification, manual recovery procedures, log maintenance) Investigation and resolution of data inconsistencies, and adaptation to specification changes Collection, visualization, and reporting of SaaS usage Collection and formatting of data such as SaaS usage, license consumption, and activity (API/admin screen output/logs, etc.) Aggregation and visualization in a form that can be continuously operated (regular reports, dashboards, fixed-point observation) Implementation support for operational actions based on visualization results (extraction of inventory candidates, notifications, identification of reduction candidates, etc.) Improvement of ID integration and provisioning operations based on Entra ID Improvement of user/group management, provisioning operations, and exception handling (root cause analysis, recurrence prevention) Development of related operational procedures and decision criteria as needed Streamlining inquiry handling Organization of inquiry content, templating, and development and maintenance of FAQs/knowledge Creation of small tools/scripts as needed, and automation of initial triage and guidance (including in-house agents) Investigation and consideration of introducing SaaS-attached AI functions (as needed) Information gathering on additional functions, and organization of issues from a security/compliance perspective Coordination with relevant departments to incorporate into operational rules and usage guides Job satisfaction You will support the ID lifecycle, including HR data linkage, in the company's foundational area of employee IDs, and strengthen operations through external service linkage and in-house development of peripheral tools. You will gain experience in continuously reducing manual work, exception handling, and reliance on specific individuals through linkage, automation, and visualization, transitioning from "human-centric operations" to "system-centric operations." You will be able to work on improvement themes while interacting with various SaaS across the entire company, and you will easily feel a sense of accomplishment as user feedback and appreciation are received closely. Depending on your skills, you can gradually take on challenges in strengthening governance and larger improvements and projects, using linkage, automation, and visualization initiatives as a stepping stone. Expected role This role is responsible for transitioning ID/SaaS operations from "human-centric" to "system-centric" through in-house development of peripheral tools and integration with external services, thereby simultaneously enhancing convenience, efficiency, and control. We expect you to translate operational challenges into technically solvable forms and create a state where continuous improvement can be sustained. Reduce the reliance on individual expertise, manual tasks, and exception handling in operations, and elevate them to reproducible operations. Drive operational improvements and decision-making forward with data and visualization. Create robust, operable integrations and systems that are resilient to changes and failures.
