業務内容

他部門や開発パートナー、研究機関などと国内外問わず協業し、自動運転・運転支援システムにおける下記業務をお任せします。

具体的な業務内容：
・日本及び海外でのAD/ADAS車両の走行実験、課題抽出、可視化、ソフトウェアデバッグなど要因解析、課題データ管理
・HILS/DILSの構築、及び運用

ソニーとHondaの技術アセットを効果的に活用し、ソニー・ホンダモビリティとしてはADASのコア部分のSW開発に集中する体制をとっています。そのため、様々なパートナーと協業を行いますが、コアな部分のSWについては自らコードを書き実装を進めることも多く、開発スタイルについてもIT/SWのアジャイルな開発スタイルとウォータフォール開発を融合した形で開発を進めています。また、様々なSW開発リソースや技術に関する意思決定は、基本的にソニー・ホンダモビリティとしての提供価値の考え方に基づき判断を行っています。これらにより、AI・ソフトウェア技術の進化のスピード、OTAによるアップデートを前提としたSDVとしての進化サイクルに追従し、最新技術の早期の量産導入とADASのスケーラブルな進化を目指します。

このポジションでは、国内外での実車を用いた量産化に向けた一連のADASの評価/検証（実車を用いたテスト運用、データ解析、デバック、課題抽出、改善等）をリードいただける方を募集します。

自動運転・運転支援システムに関するポジション/チームは複数ありますが、希望と適性をみてアサインメントを判断いたします。
部署内はフラットで、兼務等の形で複数のPJ/チームに跨る形で参画することも可能です。

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following tasks related to autonomous driving and driver assistance systems, in collaboration with other departments, development partners, and research institutions both in Japan and overseas.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Conducting driving tests for AD/ADAS vehicles in both Japan and overseas, identifying issues, visualizing results, debugging software, performing root cause analysis, and managing test data
• Building and operating HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation) and DILS (Driver-in-the-Loop Simulation) environments

Leveraging the technological assets of Sony and Honda effectively, Sony Honda Mobility focuses on the software development of the core ADAS components. While we collaborate with various partners, we often write code ourselves and implement core software. Our development style blends agile and waterfall methodologies from the IT/software world. All decisions regarding software development resources and technology are fundamentally based on Sony Honda Mobility's core value proposition. Through this approach, we aim to keep pace with the rapid evolution of AI and software technology, embrace the SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) evolution cycle based on OTA updates, and achieve early mass production adoption of the latest technologies and scalable ADAS advancements.

For this position, we are looking for someone who can lead the entire evaluation and validation process for mass production of ADAS using real-world vehicles, including test operation, data analysis, debugging, issue identification, and improvements, both domestically and internationally.

Department

There are multiple positions and teams related to autonomous driving and driver assistance systems. Assignments will be determined based on your preferences and suitability.

Our department maintains a flat organizational structure, and it is possible to participate in multiple projects or teams concurrently, depending on your interests and expertise.

Requirements

Required skills / experience

• At least 3 years of experience in AD/ADAS development (in any of the following areas)

Examples:

• Hands-on experience in real vehicle evaluation of AD/ADAS systems (including driving), along with data analysis and software debugging
• Experience in building HILS/DILS environments or conducting AD/ADAS testing using these systems

Preferred skills / experience

Common Requirements:

• Experience in developing perception and control algorithms for AD/ADAS systems

For Vehicle Testing & Evaluation Roles:

• Hands-on experience in testing perception and control algorithms for AD/ADAS on public roads, both in Japan and overseas
• Experience in evaluating performance under challenging conditions and edge cases, identifying issues through analysis, and contributing to mass production of the system
• Strong driving skills and experience in conducting subjective (sensory) evaluations

For HILS Development Roles:

• Experience in developing vehicle models and conducting vehicle control simulations using those models
