Chief Accountant
WHAT YOU WILL DO Financial Reporting & Consolidation Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (journal, general ledger, etc.). Record intercompany transactions and restate financials in accordance with IFRS. Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements. Tax & Compliance Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT…) and other tax correspondence for the tax authority. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in full compliance with local regulations. Internal Controls Identify significant issues/risks and propose solutions Develop and implement robust internal financial controls and procedures Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams to support financial needs and foster collaboration. Coordinate with independent auditors during the audit process. Stakeholder Communication Liaise with consulting firms, auditors, and tax authorities. Understand company policies, regulations, and requirements and convey them clearly to stakeholders Accurately report explanations and findings from consultants, auditors, and tax authorities to management. Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including supervision of staff accountants and financial analysts Develop the accounting team, establish financial processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations. WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT Required Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting , with at least 1 year in a Chief Accountant or Finance Manager role. Chief Accountant Certificate . Solid understanding of Vietnamese tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate finance, including overseas transactions (not limited to overseas clients). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MISA, FAST, or similar) and MS Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility. Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications USCPA, ACCA, or JCPA qualifications A master’s degree is a plus. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage and lead the research and consulting project, including industrial research, consumer insight Conducting commercial due diligence and related projects with international clients. Facilitated client discussions to identify improvement areas, diagnosed core issues, and formulated solution hypotheses. The Role We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Partnerships Manager to lead our US market expansion by building relationships with top-tier consulting firms and private equity firms.
